Ritz Cracker in-crusted Fried Fish: About
My Great Uncle Larry’s Ritz Fried Fish
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup of milk
2 filets of cod (Bass is the best to use)
2 rolls of ritz crackers
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Canola oil
Instructions
1. Put the crackers in a bag and smash until they are a fine powder.
2. In a bowl mix your milk and egg.
3. In a large cast iron skillet heat your oil to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
4. Season your ritz crumbs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
5. Batter your fish with the wet mixture then the crackers. I recommend double battering.
6. Fry your fish until they reach an internal temperature of 140 degrees fahrenheit, rest for 10 minutes.
7. Serve.
